MAC Face & Body Foundation - This is foundation I've owned for ages and gone back and forth with. I've used it a lot towards the end of this month and remembered how much I love it. It's a very watery foundation so doesn't provide a lot of coverage so I only wear it during the day. I combine it with concealer to hide any dark circles and scars. I am trying to wear less 'heavy' foundation in the day so his has been a good one to go to. If you like a decent amount of coverage, this foundation isn't for you!
NYX Dark Circle Concealer - This was really cheap (well, it was for a Brit shopping in Los Angeles) so I threw it into my basket without thinking. It's a slightly pink toned concealer for under your eyes. I looove this product. It works really well and you only need the tiniest amount. I've used it loads but it looks like its barely been touched.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind - Again, I bought this when I went to LA. I bloody love this for under the eyes combined with NYX Dark Circle Concealer. I love the sponge applicator and find its not too heavy on my skin.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer - I had been using my Kat Von D shade and light palette for contouring for a while. I do still love it but the shades are quite warm on me or too dark. I still use it for bronzing but I have gone back to Hoola for contouring. I always try to use new products and find I always return to this one!
Becca Moonstone Highlighter - So I had been religiously using my Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop highlighter (which I do still love) but since I've been super pale recently I wanted to try something a little more 'icy'. I found this bad boy in my makeup drawer and fell back in love with it. I've been choosing this over all my other highlighters for the last couple of weeks.
Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water - I'm not massively interested in skin care. I should be because my skin is rubbish but I do find it all a bit of a chore. Saying this, I picked this up because I ran out of the other micellar water I was using and this was on offer. I have very dry skin so wasn't put off by the 'oil infused'. Turns out to be a great decision on my part because my make up comes of SO easily with this and my skin feels great afterwards! It's the first makeup remover I've genuinely liked (yes including the Liz Earl... I don't mind that product but don't quite get the hype).
Nivea sensitive post shave balm (for men) - I bought this WAY after everyone else, therefore, I am also WAY behind. I thought it was going to be another hype product I didn't understand but after using it I have to admit I love it. It definitely keeps my make up on, probably around the same amount of time that my mac primer does but at a fraction of the course. Only issue I have is that your face smells of a bloke afterwards but other than that, I am a fan!
Game of Thrones - Yes, I know I am the slowest human being in the world but I only started watching this in the last month or so. My boyfriend and most of my friends went on about how good it was, so after I finished watching all of Modern Family (also the best program ever) I decided to start a new series and chose GoT. I never bothered it before because I struggle to watch anything that isn't a comedy... I have the worst concentration in the world and guessed this was something you really had to focus on when you watched it. I was right, you really do... you only sneeze and you've missed 3 key people be killed. But I ended up getting obsessed with it and it's pretty darn good. I've not start season 6 yet, thats next on my list of things to do! So please - no spoilers!! (I also really wish I was the mother of Dragons.)
Big Bang Theory - As with F.R.I.E.N.D.S, this is my go to day time viewing. Whenever I'm working from home or can't be bothered to look down the channel listings, I will put this on. I still find it funny even if its an episode I've seen 100x. I'm also excited to hear that Katey Segal is joining the cast. It'll be the second time she plays Kaley Cuoco's mother in a program. If you were an 8 Simple Rules (still watch this too) fan, then you'll know her as Kate Hennessey, Bridget's mum. It's basically happening all over again in BBT! Yay!
Moulin Rouge - Yes I realise this is a very old film. It was always one of my favourite films (that is not animated) but I hadn't watched it in ages. I watched it not long ago with the boyfriend and remembered just how much I loved that film and the epic soundtrack that goes along side it. I'm always shocked and a little horrified when I find out that someone hasn't watched it. In my opinion, everyone should be made to watch it.
Palisades at Download Fest.
Def Leppard - Obviously these have been around for many years so are not new to the music world. I've always loved them but recently I've been listening to their Viva Hysteria tour album on repeat. I kinda hate that theres very limited music for them on Spotify which is what I use to listen to music but still... they will always be great.
Breaking Benjamin - Again, not a new band. I just re-fell back in love with them due to going to Download Festival. Me and my friend ended up only catching the last 30 seconds of 'Diary of Jane' due to getting there late. Not going to lie, I'm devastated I didn't see them and every time I listen to their music I cry a little inside. At least the 30 seconds I managed to see live, they were also performing one of my favourites from them. A very close second is 'until the end'.
Palisades - I hadn't heard of these guys until I was looking at the band listings for Download. I then downloaded their album 'Mind Games' and fell in love. They're a mixture of hip hop, EDM and rock all rolled into one. Me and my friend saw the whole set live and it was SO good. They even threw out free t-shirts (still pissed off I didn't catch one, stupid 6"5 guy in front of me!). They only formed in 2011 so they're probably the newest band that I currently listen to.
Beartooth - I blood love Beartooth. I was already obsessed with the song 'in between' and then I saw they were MainStage and Download Festival and almost died. We saw (almost) the whole set live and they were unreal. 'Aggressive' and 'In between' were definitely my favourite songs they performed.
Skillet - These guys formed in 1996, can't say I knew of them at 4 years old. But in the last month I've listened to loads of their stuff. They're a rock band that consists of 2 guys and 2 girls. A favourite of mine is probably 'Awake and Alive', oh and 'comatose'.
Don Broco - I've always been a massive fan of Don Broco. I listen to them all the time, not just this month. However, I have been dramatically over playing 'Further' by them for the last couple of weeks so I thought I would include them!
Pokemon Go - I'm sure you are more than aware of this Pokemon hunting app by now. I try not to download games because I get a little obsessed with them, which is exactly what happened with this one! I collected all the cards when I was younger so I feel like I am reliving my youth a little bit by playing this game.
Pinterest - I've had Pinterest for ages but rarely used it. I've randomly starting using it a lot over the last couple of weeks, I think because it gives a lot of home decorating ideas and I now have somewhere that I can buy stuff for. If you are interested in what I 'pin' on there you can check out my boards @JaynieShannonx
