October Favourites

I feel it's so cliche to start with 'I cannot believe it's November already'... but who doesn't love a good cliche? As I'm sure you can tell from the title, this is my October favourites. As always I do the beauty bits to start with and finish with some general things I've been loving throughout the month!

Swatches left to right: Black Velvet, Perla, Patina, Serenata, Baby Doll & Sleek Palette (in Solstice)

I wish I was brave enough to wear black lipstick all the time. I love it. I love other girls wearing it as well as on myself, however, I'm too much of a wimp. Instead I wait all year until October 31st. The consistency of this particular liquid lipstick, I really like. I'm definitely looking into getting a couple other colours to add to the collection.

I love these liquid lipsticks! I'd never tried the Stila ones before and I bought these 3 shades in a set of mini's. They feel really nice to apply and wear,, the formula is great! My favourite shade is Perla, but I'll definitely be trying some other colours in the future!

I'd seen these NYX liquid lipsticks all over social media, but for some reason hadn't purchased any. They are only £6.50, which is a great price for a liquid lipstick. I find that most nudes are too dark for me, as I'm so bloody pale (which I am actually embracing recently), and this shade seems to work well for me as a 'proper nude'.

Okay, so everyone and their mother probably have this palette, so I won't talk about it too much. The highlighting shades are really pigmented, so a little goes a long way. It came with a little brush, which would of been good to use, however, I lost it almost immediately. I don't really use the cream based highlight, but it is really pretty. I use a mixture of the other shades depending on the intensity I'm going for. I really like the packaging, it looks like it costs a lot more than it actually does!

Morphe Little Palette - Copper Popper
I saw this on Jaclyn Hill's snapchat, so me being me, ordered it immediately. I am so glad I did. The colours are perfect, I couldn't of designed a better palette for myself in all honesty. The pigmentation is fantastic and they are soft and easy to work with. The palette is small and easy to carry around with you, the only down side is that it's cardboard based as opposed to their usual plastic (which I prefer for durability reasons). But other than that, I am in love. I've been using this every day for the last week and can tell it's going to be a 'go to' product for the foreseeable future.  I was unable to find a link for this product as it seems to be sold out (...my bad)!

As it's now the colder months, I have been diving into moisturisers again as I have really dry skin. This nutty scent smells incredible. Although, everything does in The Body Shop, but this is definitely my favourite scent. This product is really thick and is great really dry skin.

I used to use this mascara all the time, back in the day. I ran out of mascara and couldn't be bothered to  look around the store, so I grabbed the closest thing to me... which happened to be this bad boy. I have (re)fallen in love with it. It makes me look like I actually have eyelashes (which is a miracle in itself), as well as being super black. However, I don't love to use it on my bottom lashes, as it seems to transfer to the skin really easily, which is annoying!

Other Favourites of the Month:

Blink 182 - California (Album):
I have only just listened to Blink's newest album. I did the whole 'nope, a band member has left, therefore I can no longer listen to them' rubbish when Tom left. I however, regret my decision to not listen to it sooner. It is a really good album and in particular the songs, 'sober', 'california', 'no future' and 'shes out of her mind'. I have been listening to it on repeat, so it definitely deserves to be included.

Netflix - Stranger Things (& yes, still Gilmore Girls)
This month I jumped on the bang waggon that is Stranger Things. It was so good and I can see why people got obsessed with it. The story line is so weird and wonderful and unlike anything else I've watched. There are not many episodes, which is super annoying because it was so good I needed more of it! If you've not watched it, I would highly recommend doing so!
I've already mentioned Gilmore Girls in a previous favourites, however, as the series' have loads of episodes in each, I am still eagerly watching it. I have to finish them all by the time the new series launches on the 25th of November!

What have you been loving this month?
