August Favourites | 2017

It is now the end of August... which is madness! I'm not sure whether I'll get a September favourites up as I am due to have a baby towards the end of that month, so I thought I better get one up for this month. A lot of my favourites are from my makeup haul, which I suppose is a good thing as it means I didn't waste my money! I've also got back into filming YouTube videos after a short break, so you can find the link to that favourites video at the end. Let me know if you subscribe and have a channel yourself :) Right, lets get into it!

Kiko BB Cream Coloured Beauty Balm:

I've never used a BB cream before, I always use a light foundation such a Mac Face and Body. However, I really like this product! It is a white cream consistency that then oxidises to skin colour. I use this with a bit of concealer to try and make my skin look naturally flawless...

Kiko Mini Divas Baked Bronzer:

Like I explained in the video, I did think that this product would be bigger, but then it does have 'mini' in the name, so that's probably me being dense. The colour of the bronzer is spot on for me, it's not too orange or grey toned and works really well for my skin tone. I could use this as a contour should I ever need, but for the moment I've been loving this as a bronzer!

Kiko Ultra Glossy Stylo Lipstick:

This is a very sheer, nude lipstick. It has gold undertones so I have been loving this for when I am going for a more natural bronzed/golden look.

Tarte Beauty Sponge:

I've never been a super fan of sponges, however, I have only used the real technique version. I wasn't aware that Tarte even did a beauty sponge, but I received it with the shape tape concealer and I fell in love! I prefer it a lot more to the real technique sponge, it doubles in size and is a lot softer (ha).

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer:

I won't go into this product too much as I am probably the last person to jump on this bandwagon. However, I finally got my hands on this concealer! I love the consistency of this, it'll cover anything and everything which is always good. I need to get it in a lighter shade, but so far, I'm a fan of this product!

Tarte Makeup Bag:

I ordered my Tarte products from the QVC website (which I didn't know existed), and they had a gift set which came with a purple makeup bag. I blimin' love this makeup bag! The shape of it means it fits loads in, but doesn't take up loads of room in your handbag.

Kiko Ultra Hydra Lipgloss:

This is a pretty simple product, but it's a clear gloss that I can throw over the top of liquid lipsticks to make them no longer matte. It's not sticky or goopy and does the job!

Kiko Sculpting Touch Creamy Stick Contour:

I don't usually like cream sticks for contouring, but it turns out that I do like them if I apply them directly with a brush, rather than drawing onto my face. I really like the colour and consistency of this product and have been reaching for it when I'm doing a more cream based makeup look.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette:

Again, I won't bore you all with this product as it is very widely talked about in the blogging world. But, it really is worth the hype in my opinion. The warm colour range and pigmentation are on point and this has been my go to eyeshadow palette since I picked it up!
