USA Sephora Haul

If you read my latest posts April's Best Bits or my April Beauty Favourites, you will know that I have not long returned back from a couple of weeks in America. Obviously, us makeup junkies head straight to Sephora when we go to the US, so, I have decided to do a haul post of what I purchased. As I am on maternity leave, I had significantly less money than usual and therefore bought a lot less than I have in the past. However, it was my birthday just before we went so I had some dollar to spend from that!

I had used the Champagne Pop version of this primer for a while now, however, it had recently ran out! So, when I was tottering around Sephora and saw this in 'their picks' section, I snapped it up. I love a good glowy primer, so hopefully I will enjoy this!

I don't really know why I picked this up. It was definitely an impulse buy and is definitely more 'pink' than I would tend to go for, but, I quite like the metal finish to it and it looks good with a really dewy makeup look!

I couldn't walk past Fenty and not purchase something. Well, I could, if I had any self control. These two highlight shades called out my name as I was having a rummage through their section of the store and I'm so glad I picked it up. If you read my April Favourites you will know already that I am a fan of this!

This is another product that quickly made it into the favourites, therefore I won't harp on too much about it! It really is a beautiful palette and if you are a neutrals girl, I would highly recommend this!

Yes, I am super late to the game with this one, I know. However, I never really understood what a CC cream was (if only I had realised it stood for colour correcting, ey?!), so I never looked into it. I ran out of my lightest foundation when I was on holiday so needed a new one, therefore, I picked this bad boy up to see whether it is worth the hype! I have worn it once, for a short period of time, so I can't really make a judgement call on it yet, however, it is probably one I'd be more likely to wear in the evening/night as I prefer lighter coverages for the day time.

Have you used any of these products before?

  1. Ooh I have bene eyeing the Soft Glam palette but because I don't really wear eyeshadow that much I don't think I will be expanding my collection past the Tartelette in Bloom as it has the shades I reach for. Either way, I always get excited when I see this Soft Glam palette as it is so pretty!

    1. It really is a lovely palette, but not the cheapest thing in the world if you don't really need it! x

  2. I was so happy to see this post from you Jaynie - I had to read! x I, unfortunately for my bank balance, did splash the cash and buy Soft Glam (the pressures of the internet) and am loving it - ABH have really managed to bring back the review after the mixed opinions on Subculture and Prism. I need some Fenty beauty in my life, I swear, those highlighters look BLINDING! x

    1. Haha oh dear! At least you don't regret it. I didn't bother with Subculture or Prism as I didn't like the colours but fell in love with this one! The fenty ones are good, you can build them up or leave it more subtle depending on the one you use. X
